JOSH WESTERFELD

Head Coach for Middle School and High School. 2022, 2023 and 2024

Coach Josh or “JW” as the guys call him, is proud to be a 3rd generation farmer on his family’s farm. Josh grew up loading bales of hay during harvest. In his junior year of high school, Josh tried out for the local homeschool football team and earned a starting position on the offensive and defensive line.

Josh loved playing on his team and making friendships with his fellow teammates. After graduation, Josh was able to return back to the team and help coach the O line and D line in 2021. In 2022 he helped start the Outlaws, 2024 will be his third year as head coach of the Outlaws

BOBBY COOK

Coach Cook started coaching in 1980, with over 20+ year of coaching baseball, basketball, hockey and football he has been able to watch many young men grow both physically and spiritually. Coach Cook has been the equipment manager for TWA for the past 2 years while coaching the Offensive and Defensive line.

Coach Cook has been married to his beautiful wife Jean for over 48 years. Jean and Coach Cook have been blessed to raise 7 children teaching them to live their life following the bible and their Christian faith.

JUAN RODRIGUEZ

Defensive coordinator in 2022. Off field Advisor for 2023 and 2024

Juan grew up in Los Angeles, California attended Bell High School playing football, basketball, and baseball. After high school Juan attended East Los Angeles Community College where he played linebacker for the Huskies legendary coach Al Padilla. His coaching experience started in 1993 at Holtville High School where he coached the JV linebackers and tight ends.
1994 – 1995 Coached at L. A. Jordan High School in the City of Watts where he coached Varsity quarterbacks and linebackers and also had the privilege to coach under Hall of Fame Raider Willy Brown.
1996 coached at Mt. San Antonio College under legendary coach Bill Fisk as a student assistant on defense 
1997 – 1998 coached at Garfield High School which is located in the East L.A. community where he coached the Varsity linebackers and was the defensive coordinator for the freshman football team.
2001 coached at San Marino High School as the Varsity linebackers coach
2017 coached at Kendrick High School located in Columbus, Georgia  as the Varsity defensive line and defensive coordinator
In 2000 Juan married his best friend and the love of his life Brandy and in 2003 they decided to move to the Waco area. A few years later in 2006 Juan enlisted in U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout for twelve years and three years as an Early Warning Patriot Missile operator and conducted four tours overseas in his fifteen years of service in the Army.
Coaching highlights are having the privilege to be mentored by Pepper Matonga, Willy Brown,  and Joe Kapp. Also having the opportunity to help develop players football skill and get them to the next level such as JP Pena LB (Cal), Nate Turner WR (UNLV, San Diego Charges), Damien Marzett FS (Cal,  Miami Dolphins)
