2026 Season info
(Boys and Girls – High School only)
- Practice starts February 9th and will be every Monday and Tuesday 5:00-6:00 PM
- Practices will be held at “River Valley MS” (just outside of Waco off of 84)
- Address: 4750 Speegleville Rd, McGregor, TX 76657
- (Time and Location is subject to change based on availability)
- Track Meets will be on Thursday (and one on Friday). Travel to Meets will not be further then 1 hour from Waco. We are unable to bus kids to Meets, so parents will be responsible for taking their kids (or finding a ride)
Signing up for our High School Track and Field program includes:
- A Regular season of Track Starting February 9th
- Free Outlaws Track meet uniform!
- A $25 discount for our 2026 Football/Cheer Season!

The Coach: Charles Wright
Charles Wright brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to our homeschool track team, including many years as Athletic Director and Head Coach at Sulphur Bluff ISD. He’s coached boys’ varsity basketball, cross country, and track and field, but track has always been where he’s felt most at home.
His cross country teams won four straight district titles, a regional championship, and made three consecutive trips to the state meet. On the track, his teams earned back‑to‑back district championships and several runner‑up finishes. He’s coached athletes to the state meet in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m—with top‑three finishes in some of the toughest distance races in Texas. He also had the joy of coaching his daughter to state championships in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.
Now working with homeschool athletes, Charles keeps things simple and encouraging: solid fundamentals, steady improvement, and a team culture where every kid feels supported.
